Sarah’s Swan 22×15 Watercolor
My dear friend Sarah Grubb, who is also one of my favorite artists, spent a long time watching this swan at sunset. When the swan finally became comfortable around her, she was able to capture this shot. I was thrilled to paint this photograph. I absolutely loved bringing to life this beautifully illuminated bird that Sarah captured. I’m particularly fond of the swan being next to the rocks as it swam on the water while the sunset illuminated it with a backlit glow. Thank you Sarah!
